This past weekend, MTV aired a huge marathon of every single "The City" and "The Hills" episode since the season and series finales, respectively, will be airing Tuesday night starting at 9:00pm. I, of course, watched it aaaall weekend and an episode from season one stood out to me. Elle did a photoshoot on fashion bloggers.
The two bloggers the show featured were Jane Aldridge (above left) of Sea of Shoes and Tommye Fitzpatrick (right) of Fashionologie, although there were many more.
Since Elle is acknowledging the fact that the internet is a resource for fashion almost as much as the magazine itself, it shows that they know who the competition is persay as well as telling the world that the internet is the real deal. These two bloggers bought URLs for themselves and consistently update to show just how serious they are. And at such a young age, too!
It's easy to start up and not too difficult to maintain, which got these girls a photoshoot at Elle. Crazy, huh?
